Let's Talk Fun Houses
You go through a fun house and you stand in front of a mirror.......and what you see isn't what you'd expect. The mirrors are curved so the picture looking back at you is different.

1st vocab term - Scaled Copy
A scaled copy is a copy of an image where every length in the original image is multiplied by the same number.
For example, if a picture is 3 feet long and 2 feet tall, and you multiply the dimensions by 2, now the picture would be 6 feet long and 4 feet tall.

Drawings 1 and 2 are the same shape as the original, but the sizes are different. (Yes, scaled copies can be smaller than the original; not just larger).
Scaled Copies
Drawings 1 and 2 have different shapes. Drawing 1 is more spread out. Drawing 2 is more narrow.
