Goal
In Career and Technical Education, our goal is to shape individuals to become leaders in their chosen fields, dedicated to service, social responsibility and to encourage all students to pursue their passion, as we pursue ours.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Los Fresnos CISD Career and Technical Education Office is to empower students by providing them the opportunity to graduate college and career ready and be prepared for a lifetime of learning.

District Policies and Teacher Responsibilities

LFU CTE No Cellphone Policy Plan
As a team we will implement the same guidelines for us to control the use of cellphones in our classrooms and adhere to the states House Bill 1481 prohibiting cell phones in our classrooms
We will ask students to keep their cellphones inside of their backpacks and backpacks will now be kept in front of the classroom.
*We already practice this for our EOC exams.

Leaving Students Unattended in Classroom
District Policy-
Students should not be left unattended inside of teacher's classroom. This includes you students in class in the morning, during lunch break, or in the afternoon.
*If you need to step out please notify the teacher next to you.

Lesson Plans
Lesson Plans due date:
Every Friday by 4:15 pm.
If lesson plans are turned in after due date they will be marked as incomplete.

Attending CTE PLC Meetings
Team will vote on the day most convenient for everyone to meet.
Meeting will be at 8:00 am. Reminder we only have 20 minutes to cover important information.
I understand that we might have one or two mornings where we might be running late. Please text me notifying me that you are running late to campus on the day of the meeting. We will begin promptly at 8:00 am.
