What is meant by ‘ethical considerations’?

Ethical issues are concerns about what is morally right or wrong when
using participants in research.

Ethical issues are when there is conflict between the needs of the
research and the rights of participants.

The role of the BPS is to provide guidelines to inform
researchers and resolve ethical dilemmas.
