Artificial intelligence (AI) is technology that enables computers and
digital devices to learn, read, write, create, and analyze. It is a
generative resource that collects information from the internet to
answer your questions. However, the results may not always be
correct, and they may be biased. AI can also be trained.
Some of the ways AI can assist teachers are:
•automating administrative tasks (like grading)
•providing personalized learning experiences for students
•offering data-driven insights to improve teaching strategies
Used as a tool, AI allows teachers to focus more on instruction and
student engagement.

Artificial Intelligence
The use of AI software and apps to produce
content for papers, projects, or other
assignments is prohibited unless it is required
as part of the assignment. A variety of AI
detection techniques will be utilized to
determine if student work is all or partially AI
generated. The estimated percentage of AI
detected content will be deducted from the
overall grade on the assignment. For example, if
40% of your work has been AI generated, your
maximum grade for the assignment will be 60%.
AI use will also warrant a referral to
administration for academic dishonesty.
