Utilizamos el comparativo para decir que algo tiene más de una cualidad en comparación con otra cosa. Por ejemplo:

The red car is faster than the blue car.

El auto rojo es más rápido que el auto azul.

Hulk es más grande que Thor.

Usamos el superlativo para indicar que algo tiene la mayor cantidad de una cualidad en comparación con todo lo demás.
