what is TRIANGULAR NUMBERS ?

The triangular number sequence is the representation of the numbers in the form of equilateral triangle arranged in a series or sequence. These numbers are in a sequence of 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28, 36, 45, and so on. The numbers in the triangular pattern are represented by dots.

SQUARE NUMBERS

A square number is a number multiplied by itself. This can also be called 'a number squared'. The symbol for squared is ². 2² = 2 x 2 = 4.

CUBE NUMBERS

A cube number is the product of three identical factors (e.g. 2 x 2 x 2 = 8). So, a cube number is any number which has been multiplied by itself, twice. Sometimes, the language 'cubed' is used (e.g. '2 cubed' = 2 x 2 x 2 = 8).
