I attended Slippery Rock University where I completed my Bachelors degree in K-12 Health & Physical Education with minors in Aquatics and Adapted Physical Activity. Along the way I have achieved my Masters Degree in Exercise Science while also gaining certification as an Intercollegiate Athletic Director.
I have been in education since 2005, and I started at CCA in the fall of 2022.
I will always cheer for the black & gold (Steelers, Penguins, & Pirates)! I met my wife in college and we began our family in the Harrisburg area after we graduated. We have four children, a dog, and six chickens. Our family is very active with sports and outdoor activities. I personally enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, camping, and running.

Appropriate classroom behavior is always expected in guided classes and chats, posts, comments, etc.
Be on time! Be ready at least 5-minutes before class time and check that your device and internet connection are ready to go.
Take care of your personal needs before entering a live video lesson. Appropriate clothing, basic hygiene, eating, talking to others in your home, etc.
Ditch distractions before joining a live video lesson. Turn off music/TV to minimize background noise. Put away your phone and video gaming devices. If you can, sit at a desk or table in a calm area where you can sit upright to focus.
5
Do the lesson in edio on your own any time that you want. You will need to submit it when you are done to get credit.
2. On Your Own
Guided Instruction at your scheduled time. Meet in my Zoom room, participate with me and the activities in class in real-time. You will only need to do the edio lesson if I tell you to. All meetings will be recorded and posted in edio.

As with all courses at CCA, a high standard of academic integrity is required. You are expected to produce your best work and your own work. CCA requires that all learners read, understand, and sign the CCA Honor Code.
Should the Honor Code be violated, the following actions will be taken:
In the first instance of a violation of the CCA Honor Code, you will receive a warning from your teacher.
In subsequent instances, you may receive a zero for the assignment with no option to resubmit.

If one side/dimension of the Health Triangle is lacking support, the other sides of the triangle will not be balanced.
This could cause all areas of health to be affected.
Everything we discuss in this course will fall back on this principle of health.
