Order of Operations

1) Evaluate the expressions inside the grouping symbols. *Grouping symbols may be parentheses, brackets, absolute value bars, and/or radicals.

2) Evaluate all powers and radicals

3) Multiply and divide in order from left to right.

4) Add and subtract in order from left to right.
