REVIEW: "ikimasen ka?" and "arimasu"
VERB あります (arimasu) and いきませんか (ikimasen ka)
(Time expression)、(time of the day)に(place)にいきませんか?
(Time expression), (time of the day) ni (place) ni ikimasen ka?

すみません、(time expression and time of the day)に(plan/event)があります。
Sumimasen, (time expression and time of the day) ni (plan/event) ga arimasu.

The verb "arimasu" (あります) means "there is" or "I have," and "arimasen" (ありません) means "there is not" or "I don't have" for the particle "が (ga)" is used to mark the subject of the sentence or the thing that exists or does not exist.
Placement :
(object, events, classes) ga arimasu: I have ....
(object, events, classes) ga arimasen: I don't have...
Example: あした、にほんごのじゅぎょうがあります
ashita, nihongo no jyugyou ga arimasu
Tomorrow, I have Japanese class.
The verb "ikimasen ka" (いきませんか) is used to invite someone to go somewhere, "Would you like to go ....?"

Telling minutes
In previous lessons, you’ve learned the basics of telling time in Japanese, focusing on hours. Today, we’ll build on that knowledge by learning how to add minutes to the time. Specifically, we’ll focus on times that end in number 0 and 5 minutes.
Basic Structure for Telling Time:
Hours (じ - ji)
Minutes (ぷん/ふん - pun or fun)
For times ending in 0 :
Combine Number (hour) + じ (ji) + Number (minutes) + っぷん (ppun)
Example : はちじにじゅっぷん (Hachi ji nijyuppun) ー 8:20
For times ending in 5 :
Combine Number (hour) + じ (ji) + Number (minutes) + ふん (fun)
Example : はちじにじゅうごふん (Hachi ji nijyuugo fun) ー 8:25
Instruction: Can you try to create a sentence "I have .... class at ....." by adding the time above to the sentence you have created on the previous page? Remember, you MUST add the particle "に ni" next to the time.
