Verb て (te) form conjugation

In this lesson, you will learn how people in authority use the て-form to give instructions to younger people, or to those with less authority.
In casual conversations, it is acceptable for sentences to end with the て-form, but not in formal conversations. You will learn more about the て-form in the coming lessons.

(Person's name)さん、(item)テーブルに もっていって
(Person's name)-san, (item) o teeburu ni motte itte

......, please take the ...... to the table

media

Today's verb :
おきます Okimasu:
to put, to place, to put down
もっていきます
Motteikimasu :
to take; to carry (something) away

Giving instruction/command (casual) :

おきます Okimasu → おいて Oite :
Please put/place

もっていきます
Motteikimasu → もっていって Motteitte :
Please take/carry ..... away

*REMEMBER, you shouldn't use this pattern to ask or request something from someone who is older, a stranger, or in a position of higher authority. In these cases, the polite version involves adding ~ください (kudasai) → おいてください (oite kudasai).
