Conditionals

Hypothesis
Written in the form of: If p, then q.
Conditional Statement
Concepts:

A statement that reverses the hypothesis and conclusion of the original conditional statement.
Converse
Refers to the "then" part of a conditional statement, which is the outcome or result that occurs if the "if" part (hypothesis) is true.
Conclusion
Concepts:

A logically equivalent statement that swaps the hypothesis and conclusion, and negates both.
Contrapositive
The negation of both the hypothesis and conclusion of the original statement, while keeping their order.
Inverse
Concepts:

Conditional Statement: "If it is raining, then I wear my coat."
Converse: "If I wear my coat, then it is raining."
Inverse: If it isn't raining, then I don't wear my coat."
Contrapositive: "If I don't wear my coat, then it isn't raining."
