〜た (ta) Form Conjugation
The た(ta) form is used to express the past tense (casual) or to make suggestions together with 〜ほうがいいです (...hou ga ii desu).
To conjugate a Japanese verb into the た(ta) form, you can use this dictionary: https://conjugator.reverso.net/conjugation-japanese.html
Example : およぎます → およいだ
Oyogimasu → Oyoida
Let's do the practice together:
1️⃣ Open your Japanese 1 Notebook to pages 50–54.
2️⃣ Pick one verb from the list.
3️⃣ Find its た (ta) form using the dictionary above.
(Example: たべます tabemasu・たべる taberu → たべた tabeta)
4️⃣ Use the grammar on the page to make a suggestion to your friend using that verb.
(Example: たべたほうがいいです tabeta hou ga ii desu : You should eat)

Particle に (ni) and と (to)
Function of Particle に (ni)
In the previous lesson, you learned the function of particle に (ni) as a time and direction/location marker. Today, you will learn the function of particle に (ni) to indicate the person or target to whom the action is directed.
Function of Particle と (to)
In the previous lesson, you learned the function of particle と (to) as a connector of two nouns or we can translate it as "and" in English. Today, you will learn the function of particle と (to) to indicate the person you are interacting with.
Example for particle に (ni):
せんせいにききます
Sensei ni kikimasu

Translation: "I ask the/my teacher"
Example for particle と (to):
せんせいとききます
Sensei to kikimasu
Explanation :
