French ER verbs

​Actions ending with -ER

​se cogner

​Actions (also called VERBS ending with -ER

​manger means to eat

But we can't say "I to eat", even if we add "I"

Je means I, so we have to add "je"

BUT we can't say je manger

We have to remove the -ER :

JE MANG

Then we have to add an E

JE MANGE

​Let's try some examples with the 3 actions we have:

tomber

Add "je" (which means "I")

Je tomber

Remove the er, and you have:

Je tomb

Add an e

You have:

Je tombe

​This is NOT about only removing the R from -ER
