What do I do?

  • Are you multiplying a decimal by a number greater than 1? Move the decimal to the RIGHT!

  • Example: 72.64 X 100= There are two zeros which means we are shifting are answer over two spaces to the left of the place value chart which means are decimal moves two spots to the RIGHT because we are getting LARGER because we are multiplying by a whole number!

  • So, the answer would be 7264
