​Reported speech

• ​We use say and tell to report what someone else has expressed.

  Tell is followed by an object. ---> E.g. She told me she was . . .

• To report we go back one tense into the past
  I'm going to watch the news" --> She said she was going to watch the news

• Time expressions and other words change.

• We can also use words like: admit, mention, reply, state, add and complain.
