Differentiation

• Something we all do rather we realize it or not.

• Meeting students where they are.

• All students can succeed with the right guidance and support.

• All students learn differently.

What does differentiation look like in my classroom?

• 8-9 IEPs in my general classes.

• Organizing students by tiers (ensures my knowledge of students)

• Guided readings (CK-12) & questions

• Quizizz (accommodations)

​I am consistently collecting data everyday (Quizizz, Quizlet Live, Edcite, CK-12), this drives my grouping/ instruction.

Other strategies

• Using a variety of teaching styles. (Auditory/ Hands on/ Visual)

• Providing students with options for learning information.

• Giving students options for how they show what they learn. (Types of assessments)  

• Allowing students to work in small groups or alone. (Strategic grouping)
