Series Circuit

A series circuit is an electrical circuit in which every component is connected in a single path. Series circuit consists of a single closed loop. Electricity flows around the series circuit in a single path.

Multiple Choice

Which of the following statements best describes how the bulb brightness differs between a series circuit and a parallel circuit, each with two lights?

1
Bulbs in a parallel circuit are brighter than in a series circuit.
2
Bulbs in a series circuit do not light up at all.
3
Both circuits have the same brightness for the bulbs.
4
Bulbs in a series circuit are brighter than in a parallel circuit.

Observations:
bulbs remain brighter because each path receives the full voltage
