​One crisp, fall day my brothers and sisters and I were playing the leaves. There was so much laughter from my siblings. The dogs were barking in the distance from all of our noise.

​We decided to pile the leaves up and run, jump, and slide in them like we were baseball players. It was so much fun until all of a sudden it was my turn to slide. I slide only to come out with a cold, disgusting, slimy object in my dry hair. Oh no, it was a slug! I ran up to my house screaming and crying.

When I got to my house my mom asked what I was screaming about. I yelled, "I have something gross and slimy in my hair!"
She looked and started laughing. She said, "it is just a little slug." I begged her to get it out. She washed my hair and I was relieved. I hesitated playing in the leaves after that day.
