Steps to Add/Subtract Polynomials

​Step 1. Get rid of parenthesis by distributing the constant before each of them
Step 2. Vertically line up like terms as you get them from Step 1
Step 3. Combine like terms accordingly (BE EXTRA CAREFUL WITH SIGNS)
Step 4. Write the answer in standard form
