  • Inciting Incident: While walking, he meets Robert, a fellow student, who wants to show him a chicken. Miguel decides to check it out.

  • Rising Action: Miguel follows Robert to the chicken and gets the idea to sell the chicken for $3.00. Miguel feels guilty. Back home, his mom comes home, and he remembers he is supposed to clean up for his mother. He hurries into the house, so it looks like he is cleaning. Then, he helps his mother carry groceries into the house.
