Lines and Angles

2
Line
A straight path that continues in both directions. Notice the end points are both arrows. This implies that the line will continue in both directions.
3
Ray
A part of a line that has one endpoint and continues in one direction. The endpoint is the dot at the end of the line. This signifies that the line has stopped. The end of line that has the arrow means that the line will continue on - it doesn't have an endpoint.
4
Angle
Two rays or line segments that have the same endpoint. Do you notice how H and Q have an endpoint dot ? This means this is where both lines end and the angle is formed.
5
Line Segment
The part of a line between two endpoints. The line stops at both ends.
