There is a lot of data in the world. You have to be careful with what data you are looking at, figuring out what it really means, and finally how it really impacts your students and you.

Growth Mindset

When a student retakes a test/assignment or resubmits a test/assignment, focus on the growth, not the actual score. They may have gone from 40% to 68% F to D, that's HUGE!!!! Celebrate with them on their growth. Use the data to celebrate growth. Show them all them things they did well.
