Example description
The activity that I propose for our "Bridge The Divide" project is a karaoke session. As we all know, music tastes vary across generations and therefore I feel it is important for mutual sharing of music preferences through karaoke. Therefore, a week before the visit to the elderly home, the Social Services Club will send a request form to the elderly home and to students to ask what their favourite songs are. From this list, songs will be compiled for students and the elderly to sing together. On the day of the visit, we will rent a karaoke machine which will enable students to sing with the elderly for around one hour. After the singing has finished, there will be a discussion session where students and the elderly can share what they learnt and what they enjoyed.
