​Emily and Fluffy

Emily wanted a pet, but she could not decide whether to get a kitten or a

rabbit. Her older brother knew a lot about animals. He told Emily that a rabbit

would be easier to take care of than a cat. Emily thought that was good advice,

so she got a rabbit. She was so happy and named it Fluffy. She started feeding

it and cleaning its cage every day. After a few days, Fluffy ( 21 ). Fluffy

was not eating much and sleeping most of the time.

Emily was worried, so she asked her brother for help. They found out that

Emily had been giving Fluffy the wrong kind of food. Her brother said if they

got the right food, Fluffy would feel better again. He was right. Fluffy soon

began to eat well and be active. Emily was happy. She understood how

important it was to ( 22 ) properly.
