Accountable is synonymous with responsible.
If you are accountable for your actions, people will think of you as trustworthy, which means people will consider you reliable.
Being an accountable person (and thus, responsible, trustworthy, and reliable) leads to positive outcomes at home, in school, and in your relationships.
