"Accountable means being responsible for one’s actions or work.”

• Accountable is synonymous with responsible.

• If you are accountable for your actions, people will think of you as trustworthy, which means people will consider you reliable.

• Being an accountable person (and thus, responsible, trustworthy, and reliable) leads to positive outcomes at home, in school, and in your relationships.
