What is a pattern?

Patterns

Predictable behaviors in numbers, objects, people, etc.

In math, we think of patterns in numeric lists, visual representations, shapes, and contextual problems where something is growing or shrinking in a consistent way.

Visual patterns can represent growing patterns. Assess how they are growing to predict what would come next!​
