Aku sebagai penyedut minuman. Aku diperbuat daripada plastik yang lembik. Aku mempunyai pelbagai warna. (I am a drinking straw. I am made of soft plastic. I come in various colours.)
Pada suatu hari, seorang gadis membeli segelas air. Aku digunakan untuk menyedut air tersebut.
(One day, a girl bought a glass of water. I was used to sip the water.)
Gadis itu memuji rasa air yang sedap itu. Selepas air itu habis, gadis itu tidak membuang aku.
(The girl praised the delicious taste of the water. After finishing the drink, she did not throw me away.)
Aku dikumpulkan bersama-sama rakan-rakanku yang lain sebelum dijadikan sebuah bekas kecil yang cantik.
(I was collected together with my fellow straws before being turned into a beautiful small container.)
Kemudian, gadis itu membeli sebatang penyedut minuman baharu. Penyedut minuman itu diperbuat daripada besi yang keras. (Later, the girl bought a new drinking straw. The straw was made of hard metal.)
Gadis itu boleh menggunakan penyedut minuman baharu itu berulang kali supaya lebih jimat dan tidak mencemarkan alam sekitar.
(The girl could use the new straw multiple times to save more and not to pollute the environment.)
