CREATION OF A VIDEO CLIP ABOUT SCIENTIFIC EVOLUTIONS

​AIM	Students will create a short film in English about a scientific or technological innovation based on the evolution of an item, developing both their creativity and their ability to communicate in English. The project will encompass research, script writing, filming, editing and presentation.
ARTICULATING AXLES:	Science: Research on scientific innovations or technological advances. Technology: Use of digital tools for filming and editing videos. Engineering: Design of scenarios and technical elements for filming. Art: Creation of the aesthetics of the short film (costumes, set design, visual effects). Mathematics: Calculations on video duration, scene planning, narration rhythm.

ACTIVITIES AND ASSESSMENT

LEARNING ACTIVITIES	​ Read a text about the topic. Students will investigate scientific advances or innovative technologies, such as the evolution of a product they use now. Focusing on the topic they are going to work on.
ASSESSMENT	​Reading comprehension workshop. Write a short report (300-500 words) in English about the selected topic on which they will build the story of their short film, explaining its evolution and relevance or possible impact in the future.
