Introduction to Pronouns
In Arabic, pronouns (ضمائر, dwamaa'ir) stand in for nouns, either persons or things. They're essential for creating meaningful sentences without constant repetition of nouns.

Types of Arabic Pronouns
There are three primary types of pronouns in Arabic:
Personal Pronouns - Stand for persons.
Demonstrative Pronouns - Point to specific objects or persons.
Relative Pronouns - Give us more information about something or someone

Personal Pronouns
These refer to the person or persons speaking, being spoken to, or spoken about. They can be categorized into:
Singular Pronouns:
Ana (أنا) = I
Anta (أنتَ) = You (masculine)
Anti (أنتِ) = You (feminine)
Huwa (هو) = He
Hiya (هي) = She

Personal Pronouns

Dual Pronouns
Nahnu (نحن) = We both
Antumaa (أنتما) = You both (masculine and feminine)
Humaa (هما) = They both (masculine and feminine)

Antunna (أنتُنَّ) = You all (feminine)

Hunna (هنّ) = They (feminine)
*mixed group means when there is both masculine and feminine

أنتَ و بناتكَ = أنتم
أنتِ وأولادكِ = أنتم
أنتِ وولداكِ = أنتم
البنات = هنَّ
العاملون = هم
أحمد وعلي وعمر = هم
نورة وليلى وهالة = هن
الأستاذ والطالبتان = هم
أمي وأخَواتِي = هن
أنا والجيران = نحن
والدَيّ = هما
