What Are Weighted Averages?
Fill in the blanks on your notes.
· A weighted average is an average where different __IMPORTANCE(WEIGHT)_ is placed on different parts of the data set.
· To find the weighted average you _MULTIPLY_ the category average by the weight given to the category.
· For _PERCENTAGES(GRADES)_, you add your weighted averages.
