How are you feeling today?

 $28\times8=224$  

•  $8\times8=64$  Carry the 6 into the tens place.

•  $20\times8=160+60=220$  

• Add  $220+4=224$   and you have your answer.

 $212\times8=1,696$ 

•  $2\times8=16$  Carry the 1 into the tens place.

•  $10\times8=80+10=90$  

•  $200\times8=1,600$  
  

• Add  $1,600+90+6=1,696$   and you have your answer.
