Elements

An element is a pure chemical substance. Elements are main structure to both compounds and mixtures. It is made up of a single type of atom. Some examples are Oxygen (O₂) and Carbon (C).

Compounds

Compounds are a pure chemical substance made of 2 or more elements. A compound is made using chemical combination. Some examples are Water (H₂O) and Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂).
