Factors and multiples
A multiple is a number that can be divided by another number a certain number of times without a remainder. A factor is one of two or more numbers that divides a given number without a remainder.

A factor divides a number completely without leaving any remainder.

Multiples
Well, a multiple is any number obtained by multiplying other numbers together. Multiples are most commonly discussed in the context of integers.

Prime and composite numbers
A prime number is a number which has exactly two factors i.e. '1' and number itself. A composite number has more than two factors, which means apart from getting divided by number 1 and itself, it can also be divided by at least one integer or number.
