(a) Six Grid Papers
(b) Two Sketch pens ( Red and Blue)

(a) 0.3 X 0.7 = 0.21
(b) 0.5 X 0.5 = 0.25

Step 1
Take one 10 X 10 grid paper and shade three columns using red sketch pens. This represents 0.3.

Step 2
Take one 10 X 10 grid paper and shade seven rows using blue sketch pens. This represents 0.7.

Step 3
Take another 10 X 10 grid paper, shade three columns with a red sketch pen, and seven rows using blue sketch pens. the common shaded region in the grid paper is 0.21.
