Example Questions

John received 30 marbles in the span of 3 days. He then received 50 marbles in the span of 5 days. How many marbles did he then receive in the span of seven days? 70

To find the answer we see that he received 30 marbles in the span of 3 days. 3 into 30 goes 10 times and 3 days multiplied by 10 equal 30, which is how many marbles he got, .: days x 10= marbles, so 7 multiplied by 10 equal 70.

You can also use proportion to solve the question!
