• scientific law describes what is happening in nature.

• improving technology like microscopes allow us collect new evidence to support the cell theory

• Cell Theory is evidence that all living organisms have cells:

1. All living things are made of one or more cells. (Unicellular = one cell; Multicellular = more than one cell)

2. The cell is the most basic unit of life.

3. All cells come from pre-existing cells.​
