Area of Triangle and Parallelogram

Let's start by reviewing how to find the area of a square, rectangle, parallelogram, and triangle.

Remember these two formulas.

For a Square, Rectangle and Parallelogram ​we will use A = (b)(h)

For a Triangle we will use

A = 1/2(b)(h) OR A=(b)(h) divided by 2​

​The height of a triangle must always be perpendicular to the base!
