What is a polygon?

A polygon is:

• a closed, flat shape with 3 or more sides.

The prefix of a polygon tells you how many sides it has.

• Tri = 3 sides

• Quad = 4 sides

• Penta = 5 sides

• Hexa = 6 sides

• Octa = 8 sides
