To convert a fraction to a decimal, divide the numerator by the denominator!

To convert a terminating decimal to a fraction, say it out loud, and write down what you hear.

Converting Decimals to Fractions

To convert a repeating decimal to a fraction, say it out loud, but subtract 1 from the denominator.

(Unless it's one of those common ones like 1/3, 2/3, etc)
