from our work this week.

A run-on sentence is two or more complete sentences
incorrectly joined together.

Example:
There was a forest and it had a tree and the tree was in
a river and there was a swing on the tree.

Three Methods:

1) Separate the two sentences with a period. Remove

words as needed. Capitalize and punctuate
correctly.

2) Use a comma and a FANBOYS conjunction to

correctly join the sentences.

3) Use a semicolon to correctly join the two sentences.
