Words with Digraphs Ch and Sh

​Digraph

are those speech sounds made by groups of two consonants to make a single sound.

Example: 1 .     /ch/ as in beach

2.     /sh/ as in shop

Some digraphs are found both at the beginning and ending of a word. If the consonant digraph sound ch or sh is produced at the beginning, it is called initial consonant sound ch or sh.

If the consonant digraph sound is produced at the end, it is called final consonant sound ch or sh.
