The solar system

We can see some parts of the solar system only at night.

the sun is in the center of the solar system.

the sun is the closest star to earth.

star : is a huge ball of hot gases.

There are 8 planets :

1- Mercury.

2- Venus.

3- Earth.

4- Mars.

5- Jupiter.

6- Saturn.

7- Uranus.

8- Neptune.

Planet

Is a large ball rock or gas that moves around the sun.

Mercury

Is the closest planet to the sun.

Venus

Is the brightest planet in the sky.

Earth

Is our planet.

Mars

Is a red planet.

Jupiter

Is the largest planet.

Saturn

is the planet with the rings.

Uranus

is very cold and cloudy.

Neptune

Is made of gas.

Constellation

Is a group of stars that forms a pattern.

Orbit

* Is the path a planet takes as it moves around the sun.

* It takes one year for earth to make one orbit around the sun.
