When you have a remainder in a question you subtract the first fraction ex:3/3 - 1/3 = 2/3.Then you find the correct value of the second fraction ex: 2/3 x 6/8 = 2/4 =1/2. Then you finish the question ex : 1/3 + 1/2 = 5/6 6/6 = 1/6 1/6 x24 = 24x6 = 144.
