In this slide, we will understand the Chapter question which is "How did the rocks of the great plains and rocky mountains form?"

The different types of rocks

There are three different types of rocks.

(Sediment rock, Igneous rock, and metamorphic rocks.) These rocks are mostly found in the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains.
