5) Safety Contract

5a) Skim the Safety Contract and circle or highlight what you would consider the top 5 most important rules to follow.

5b) Knowing yourself, which 3 rules will be most difficult for you to follow? Summarize them below.

5c) Read one rule aloud to the class and explain why you think it is important.

Instructions: Construct a safety poster by developing a rhyme or slogan and drawing a corresponding picture of a safety rule from the provided Flinn Safety Contract.

Special Considerations: Artistic ability is not graded, however, the poster must be neat, colored with multiple colors, creative, authentic (I shouldn’t be able to Google search and find a replica) and done by hand. Your name, period, and rule number must be on the back! See rubric handout for full explanations of how points are earned.

7) Safety Poster

8) Classroom Safety Map

On your handout, label the map with the safety features found around the classroom.

9) Safety Demonstration

Fill in the handout prompts regarding the safety demonstration.
(If you were absent, ask a friend to describe the demonstation)
