Definition of simple future tense:

Simple future tense is a form of sentences to express an action or event which has not begun to be used and will occur in the future. The sentences of simple future tense are also commonly used to express a prediction or to indicate ability and intention.

When are we use simple future tense?

In English grammar, the simple future tense formula has two different forms. Namely: “shall/will and be going to.”

Shall/ will is used when we express a wish or willingness.

Example: I will get the mail, so you can give it to Mr. Smith.

Be going to is used when we express a plan.

Example: She is not going to meet the CEO today.
