Objective of our lesson today is

to learn about Subject-Verb-Agreement (SVA)

Notes :

Subject + Verb + Agreement (SVA)

S = Noun (kata nama)

V = Verb (kata kerja)

A = Agreement

(contoh: is, are, am atau verb+s/+es/+ies

A singular subject is followed by a singular verb

• is / am

• verb +s /+es / +ies

• Example : I am 12 years old.

• Example : Abu eats apple.

A plural subject is followed by a plural verb

• are

• verb no change

• Example: We are 12 years old.

• Example : Abu and Ali eat apple
