DIVIDING FRACTIONS

As in all division problems, the answer you get when you divide fractions is called the quotient.

When dividing fractions using the KCF (keep change flip) method.

  1. keep the first fraction.

  2. Change the division sign to multiplication

  3. Flip the second fraction​.

  4. Multiply ​by numerator by numerator and denominator by denominator.

  5. ​Simplify the quotient.

PLACE VALUE
