Used to / Be used to

Let's see what is the difference ?

Focus on ?!!?

Form : Used to + v1 (base form )

e.g. I used to go to school by bus .( It means : I don't go to school by bus anymore.)

Usage: For repeated action in the past which are usually finished .



negative / affirmative form /questions

Affirmative:

I used to play tennis .

Negative:

I didn't (not) use to play tennis. (omit the-d)

Question:

Did you use to play Tennis? (

Be + Used to + gerund ( v+ing or noun)

• Usage: For something has become familiar/habitual = not strange situation !

• e.g. I am used to working everyday.
