Possitive

• We use 'was' with singular

• We use 'were' with plurals

Examples:

• My mom was happy yesterday.

• He was my best friend.

• Peter and Jhon were in the park.

• We were worried last night.

Possitive

• We use 'wasn't' in negative singular

• We use 'weren't' in negative plurals

Examples:

• My mom wasn't happy yesterday.

• He wasn't my best friend.

• Peter and Jhon weren't in the park.

• We weren't worried last night.

Interrogative

• We use 'Was...?' for singular interrogatives

• We use 'Were...?' for plural interrogatives

Examples:

• Was your mom happy yesterday?

• Was he your best friend?

• Were Peter and Jhon in the park?

• Were we worried last night?

WH Interrogative

• We use 'WH + Was...?' for singular interrogatives

• We use 'WH + Were...?' for plural interrogatives

Examples:

• Who Was happy yesterday?

• Where was your best friend?

• Where were Peter and Jhon?

• What were we doing last night?
